About Quentin
Quentin Stapleton is based in Oberon, NSW. Here he runs a horse training operation, named QRS Equine Services, specialising in Reined Cowhorses. Among many accomplishments in his ridden career, Quentin was the 2022 ARCHA Open Derby Champion and most recently the 2023 NRCHAA Open Derby Champion. With the increasing interest in the sport of reined cowhorse, this clinic is one not to miss!
About the weekend
A Reined Cowhorse weekend, with Quentin Stapleton from QRS Equine Services. Saturday morning will commence with dry work fundamentals, and building connection between horse and rider. In the afternoon, the use of the mechanical cow will be introduced. Finishing off the weekend on Sunday will include working with live cattle.
Feel free to arrive Friday afternoon to set up camp in our "Ranch Camp". On the campsite we offer powered and non powered campsites. The area consists over 2 acres of beautifully maintained garden which includes a horse shoe style ceremony area, rustic ranch style bathrooms and a fully equipped catering area.
Enjoy watching your fellow riders in our grand stands with a hot cup of coffee and a farm direct pie from our cafe!
